Zometa
zoledronic acid |
Zometa is used to treat higher levels of calcium in the blood which may occur with certain cancers. It can also be used with other forms of chemotherapy to help treat bone damage that can be caused by myelomas or cancers that have metastasized to the bone. It works by decreasing calcium levels in the blood and by increasing bone density. |
