Lactulose
Laevolac, synthetic sugar made from a molecule of fructose and galactose each, has an overly sweet taste. It is used to cure hepatic encephalopathy and constipation. For constipation, it is generally taken once daily and three-four times in a day in case of liver problem. Cramps in the abdomen, flatulence and borborygmus, nausea, vomiting are its common side effects.
