Inhibitron is a medication that inhibits gastric acid secretions. It is used to treat gastric and duodenal ulcers, and gastric reflux problems. It is used in conjunction with amoxicillin to treat H pylori bacter and duodenal ulcer disease. Side effects can include anorexia and fecal discoloration. Adverse effects of this medication can include tachycardia or bradycardia, angina, chest pain, pancreatitis, mucosal atrophy and esophageal candidiasis.
