Flumil is considered to be a monolithic drug. Flumil is either inhaled or taken orally. Flumilís purpose is to thin mucus secretions thus making them easier to be expelled by the body. This is used to treat acute and chronic bronchitis, asthma, pneumonia, tuberculosis, emphysema, COPD, bronchiectasis, complications of cystic fibrosis and is used for tracheotomy care. Side effects include stomatitis, rhinorrhea, drowsiness, tightness in the chest and bronchial constriction.
