Amciderm is an anti inflammatory topical steroid cream that is used to reduce swelling, redness, itching and inflammation of the skin due to conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, contact dermatitis, and allergic reactions such as poison oak or ivy. Side effects can include blurred vision, insomnia, weight gain, fatigue, muscle weakness, side effects consistent with systemic steroid usage if the topical cream is used long term.
