Resapin is an antihypertensive agent which is used for the treatment of hypertension or high blood pressure. Resapin is also used to treat agitated states in people with psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia. It is meant to be used for people who are unable to tolerate phenothiazine as an antipsychotic medication. Resapin may cause emotional and mental depression. It should not be used by anyone who has a history of depression. It’s dosage should be stopped if any symptoms of depression occur. |
