This medication is being used for: acne vulgaris / keratosis pilaris /
Adaferin assists the skin in renewing itself quickly and hereby reduces the formation of blackheads and pimples. Its main application field is the treatment of acne.
It is being used to treat acute acne. It decreases the amount and severity of acne caused pimples, while promoting quick healing of the acne pimples that develop. Adaferin is part of a medication class called retinoids, and works on the growth of cells, thereby reducing swelling and inflammation.
Adaferin is for topical use only. It is not for ophthalmic, oral, or intravaginal use.
Adaferin is available only by prescription.
