For children 6 YEARS and younger it is safe to only give 1/2 of a TSP. Children over 6 can have 1 full TSP. Pediatrition just informed me that my dosage was to high for my 2 year old son!!!

A friend\'s 6 month old died while sleeping last week. Mother administered Benadryl before bedtime. Not sure if the Benadryl caused it but I would not risk it.
