will alcohol effect the effectiveness of biaxin

Although I do not know of any interactions, it is strongly recommended NOT to drink any alcoholic beverages whilst taking Biaxin. Same applies to any medication - It is hard to predict the effect it may have on you and your body. Stay away from the booze and stay safe.

I had alcohol after taken Biaxin XL for a couple days. It wasn\'t pretty, I was sick after the bar multiple times and the following day. It\'s not worth it.
