| i'm using differin for rosacea treatment. i use a pea sized dollop at night and lightly spread it over my entire face, avoiding the sensitive bits - around the eye, nose, lips. i wait 5-mins after washing with cetaphil before applying. in the morning i wash with cetaphil and apply cleocin-t (spelling?). i also take 1000 mg of doxy a day. my face really looks great!!!! i'm having microdermabrasion in a couple of weeks so that should smooth out the texture. yay! be careful of dryness - at times i'll go every other day with the differin if my face becomes too dry. a nice lotion at night helps the dryness, too. clinique ddf is good as is the cetaphil moisturizer. BUT make sure to wear moisturizer with sunscreen during the day!!! you'll be sensitive so be careful. |
Anonymous Commenterdo not use clinique dramatically different lotion with acne problems, it's loaded with mineral oil which will only make things worse, read the label
Anonymous CommenterMy dermatologist prescribed the same for me: was with the cetaphil, use cleocin-T and Differin, but all of those products including the cetaphil, sting when I use them. Does the sting eventually not happen anymore after using the products for so long
Anonymous CommenterMy dermatologist prescribed the same for me as well, but I stopped using them all because they all stung my face too. However, my rosacea has recently gotten worse so I\'ve tried the cleocin-t and differin and they seem to be ok so far. I have not tried the cetaphil yet, but when I run out of my current facial cleanser (Zenmed) I use I might try it again because it\'s cheaper than the zenmed.
Anonymous CommenterI have rosacea and my dermatologist prescribed the same for me: cetaphil and Differin. It was prescribed only yesterday and I am doing some research to find out the results of it. I am glad to read that it has worked for you. How long did it take to see improvements?
