| My father is on Keppra. Had several grand mal seizures eight months after a stroke. Now he has only been on Keppra for two weeks, but he doesnt seem like himself. He is very fatigued, and generally seems out of it. He has also begun having diarrhea. Other medications he is currently on include Zoloft and Kumidin. |
Anonymous Commenteri am 29 years old, i have had a brain haemorrhage and stroke, due to this i am epileptic. in the past i have tried several medications but it made me very drwosy, with the neuro doctors informed i stopped taking any epilepy medication. my epilepy is usually well controlled with out any medicstion. i usually have 1-2 fits yearly. this coulpe of months i have had 2 fits closer to each other. on the 10th of october i visited my gp and have been told to start taking keppra. i am not happy as i have tried several medications and they make me very drowsy, but the doctor has told me if i dont take the medication i could have grand fits and i am putting myself at risk.. i will give myself 2 months and see if the medication has worked if i feel wierd with or without the doctors permission i will stop it.
