Can Singulair cause hair loss? 16 year old girl taking 10mg per day is experiencing noticeable hair loss


my 9 yr. old daughter started taking 5 mg of singulair in 3/09. Her hair within the past month is falling out in huge clumps. After is is washed there is a ton of it in the drain. Then while I am picking it out there is more that comes out. It is also coming out at any given time when we brush it. It is all over the place. I am getting very concerned!!

Hey I\'m 21 and I\'ve been taking Singulair and Advair for about two months. My hair began to fall out I thought it was just summer shedding (i have really long hair past my hips). So I didn\'t think anything of it. So two weeks go by and clumps of hair started to fall out. I knew something was wrong. In the patient information it doesn\'t say hair loss but, I know for sure no matter what any doctor says I know my body best and the only change in my life style and diet was these two medications. Also, I\'ve been very easy to snap on those around me lately and have had muscle aches on TOP OF THE MASSIVE HAIR LOSS!!!
