What Is Blepharitis and Its Symptoms?

Blepharitis is also commonly known as Eyelid Inflammation. This condition is caused by and excessive growth of bacteria that are present in the skin. This is also most likely the cause of sebborheic dermatitis, bacterial infection and allergies.

This condition happens when there is an excessive oil production in the glands that is near the eyelid and this will then lead to and excessive growth of bacteria in that is present in the skin.

Here are the Symptoms of Blepharitis:

In the Eyelids:

- swollen
- itchy
- reddened
- crusty / dry
- burning feeling

Eye:

- frequent blinking that causes granular sensation
- eyelashes are loss
