Wheat As a Trigger for the Asthma Attacks

I am an asthmatic ever since I was born and as the years passed, I have been able to get an idea of what it is that triggers the Asthma. Some weeks ago, I had a consultation with a cardiologist with regard to the high cholesterol and the triglycerides in my blood and he asked me to eat a diet of wheat and wheat products. Well since the time I started the diet, I have been suffering severe asthma and I have been using the Albuterol inhaler more than I have ever used all my life. Then on Saturday, I had a sandwich with all grain bread and the main ingredient was wheat and I had very bad wheezing and itching in my mouth and throat. Then again, last night, I fixed a chilly macaroni with the all wheat macaroni and suffered another attack in the middle of the night. I think it is high time I threw away all the wheat stuff and abstain from chocolates and soda pops.
