Will Consuming an Alcoholic Beverage Cause an Asthma?

0 votes
Following a bout of infection in the chest, I have been told that I have asthma. It is over six months and I am still trying to find out what were the causes of my hospitalization both times. Recently I have started to notice that consumption of beer has been causing a lot of mucous formation in the throat and my chest tends to tighten but I really do not know if I am wheezing as I cannot hear one. Can this be considered asthma?? I remember that on both occasions when I was admitted to the hospital I had been engaged in hectic athletic activities and then had drunk beer after all that. Can there be any relation between the two? There are times when I have difficulty swallowing too.
