Could My Friend's Peak Flow Readings Indicate Asthma?

0 votes
Hey. I have a few queries to make on behalf of my close friend. She is about 5 and half feet tall. Of late, she hasn’t been keeping well; she is always coughing and keeps complaining of being short of breath. She went to the pulmonologist who has gut feeling that it can be asthma. In order to confirm it, he has asked my friend to take peak flow tests thrice a day, during the next two weeks at her home. He would then check the readings to find if the pattern confirms her asthma.
I came to her rescue and said that I would try to find some help from you guys, because mainly you guys have experiences in such a thing. Her average readings are around 450.
Could anybody share their wisdom with us regarding this matter?
