Is My Mom Going Through Menopause Already?

My mom lately has been very aggravated. She gets angry over petty things. She’s almost 50 years old now so I think she’s about to undergo menopause. She says that she doesn’t know if she’s getting her period. Her cycle used to be very consistent and on time monthly and even marks in on calendar. The month before she did not have a period that was about when she was 48. she had wacky periods. She even fainted and she can no longer recall if she even gets period. She has returned to school now and is getting too much stress. Is my mom going through menopause? What kind of mood swings shall we expect from her? As her family, what shall we do to make her feel comfortable as much as possible?
