Are These Perimenopausal Symptoms?

0 votes
I am new in this forum and I am looking for good advice. I am almost 44 years old, and I have a two-year-old son. For the last three months, I experienced having hot flashes or so I think. It felt like something hot rose on my chest, my chest and face are as red as lobster in the mirror, but there was no sweating or palpitation. I checked with my doctor and everything was normal except for my Estrogen count, which is only 54.
My last two periods were painful, I felt bloated most of the time and I have seen brown spotting in my menses but I am still getting normal flow. I also have mood swings, sudden tears, anxiety or fear that something is wrong with me. I have headaches, a light nagging tension almost every day for the last months. I went to an allergist and I am now tested for a fatal disease because of my headache and hot flashes. To say the least, I am in panic. I just don’t feel myself lately. Do you think this has something to do with peri-menopause? Anxiety? Are these symptoms normal at 43? Thank you.
